ShutterOtter is operated by BORS ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how ShutterOtter handles information when you use our mobile app.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
ShutterOtter does not require an account, login, email address, phone number, or profile.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not track users across apps or websites. We do not collect location data.
2. Photos and Camera Access
ShutterOtter uses your device camera so you can take guided photos.
ShutterOtter may request access to your photo library so you can choose a reference photo, create a reusable guide from that photo, and save captured photos to your device photo gallery.
Photos selected or captured in ShutterOtter are processed on your device. We do not upload your photos to our servers.
3. Templates and Saved Guides
If you save a template, ShutterOtter stores the guide and reference image locally on your device so you can reuse it later.
Saved templates remain on your device unless you delete them or uninstall the app.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your photos, templates, or personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
ShutterOtter may use standard Apple and app platform services necessary to operate the app, such as camera, photo library, and app distribution services.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Photos saved to your photo gallery are controlled by you through your device's Photos app.
Templates saved inside ShutterOtter remain stored locally on your device. You can delete saved templates inside the app. You can also remove app data by deleting ShutterOtter from your device.
Because ShutterOtter does not require an account and does not upload your photos to our servers, we generally do not have user data to delete from a server.
6. Children's Privacy
ShutterOtter is not intended to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
